Mishustin: Developing cooperation is in the interests of Russia and Turkmenistan

In his New Year's greetings to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin noted that developing cooperation is in the interests of both countries.

"On behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the New Year 2026!

I am pleased to note that Russian-Turkmen relations are developing successfully in the spirit of friendship, mutual respect, and consideration of each other's interests.

Trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian cooperation is being strengthened, and promising joint projects in various fields are being implemented.

"I am confident that our multifaceted cooperation will continue to expand in the new year, creating favorable conditions for launching new initiatives. This fully meets the interests of the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan," Mishustin wrote. The text of the congratulatory message was published on the website of the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The Russian Prime Minister wished Serdar Berdimuhamedov good health, happiness, and success in his responsible government duties, and peace and prosperity to the citizens of friendly Turkmenistan.
